You’ll run the job site from start to finish—leading the crew, managing safety, and making sure every job is done fast, clean, and right. As a Foreman, you’re the standard the whole crew follows and the face of Treemendous on-site with our clients.

Job Requirements – Foreman

We’re looking for an experienced, safety-focused leader who can run a crew, manage a full day of production, and represent the company professionally in front of clients. You should have hands-on tree care experience and the leadership skills to keep a team safe, organized, and moving.

Key Requirement

Leadership, Accountability, and a Safety-First Mindset
The foreman owns the job site. You’ll be trusted to plan the work, lead the crew, uphold safety standards, and deliver a finished job the client is thrilled with—keeping every job fast, safe, and precise from setup to final cleanup.

Must-Haves

• Proven experience in tree care with the ability to lead and direct a crew
• Strong knowledge of tree removal, pruning, rigging, and job-site safety
• Ability to plan and manage daily production, workflow, and timelines
• Confident communicating with clients on-site in a professional manner
• Valid driver’s license and reliable commute to/from the shop and job sites
• Physically fit (lifting 50+ lbs, working outdoors full-time in all weather)
• Dependable and consistently punctual with a positive attitude
• Team-first leadership style with professionalism on every job site
• Ability to pass a background check

Bonus Points (Preferred but not required)

• ISA Certified Arborist or working toward certification
• CDL Certification (Class A preferred)
• Experience with crane-assisted and emergency removals
• Prior crew lead or supervisory experience
• Aerial rescue training and safety certifications (First Aid/CPR)
• Experience training and mentoring ground crew and climbers
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Daily Operations

• Lead the crew through job site setup, tool preparation, and daily planning
• Assign roles and direct climbers, ground crew, and equipment throughout each job
• Manage production pace and workflow to complete jobs on time and to standard
• Walk the finished job with the client to ensure satisfaction and a clean site
• Attend and lead pre-job briefings and represent the company with professionalism

🔐 Safety & Site Awareness

• Enforce all local and company safety protocols across the crew
• Lead daily hazard assessments and safety briefings before work begins
• Monitor the crew for safe practices and correct issues on the spot
• Ensure tools, equipment, and PPE are inspected and in safe, working condition
• Ensure required PPE (steel-toe boots, hard hats, etc.) is worn at all times

📲 Communication & Documentation

• Verify accurate crew hours and job records
• Complete and review safety and job documentation (JSA forms, assessments)
• Communicate job status and any issues to the office/management
• Handle client questions and concerns on-site professionally
• Lead or attend required trainings and team meetings
