It’s hard to overstate the value an arborist can provide. From reducing the risks associated with hazardous trees to supporting the health of those who are in good shape, our arborists offer value in a number of key ways:
Urban and suburban settings can be tough on trees, but a skilled arborist can identify problems early and provide the right solutions to help them thrive and stay healthy.
Planting the right tree in the right place is key to long-term success. A professional arborist can help you choose the best species for each spot on your property, so your trees grow healthy and trouble-free for years to come.
You can’t treat a tree properly without knowing what’s really causing the problem. Our arborists are experts at diagnosing pest and disease issues and recommending the right treatments to help your tree heal and grow strong again.
If your trees are struggling, the issue might be in the soil. Our arborists use professional soil testing to identify nutrient deficiencies and recommend the best solutions to help your trees recover and thrive.
Regular pruning is essential for keeping trees healthy and looking their best, but it takes a professional arborist to craft the right plan. With a customized pruning strategy, your trees will grow stronger, safer, and more beautiful year after year.
Trees enhance your property’s beauty and value, but they can become safety hazards if issues go undetected. Our arborists can assess their condition and let you know if any pose a risk of falling or causing damage.
Whether you're after more shade, vibrant blooms, or an increase in property value, our arborists are here to guide and care for your trees to help you achieve your goals.
A professional arborist provides a variety of services that bring significant value to homeowners and property managers in Sterling Heights. Here are just a few of the top services we’re proud to offer:
Tree pruning requires more than just random cuts—it takes careful planning, precise cuts, and proper timing. Our experienced arborists use proven techniques to keep your trees healthy, promote strong growth, and achieve the results you're looking for.
Picking the right spot is just as important as choosing the right tree. A sun-loving tree won’t do well in the shade, and planting a large species in a cramped area can cause future problems. Our arborists help you choose the ideal tree for each location, ensuring it grows healthy, strong, and stress-free.
The key to a tree’s long-term health starts at planting. That means preparing the hole, root ball, and surrounding soil properly—and getting the depth just right. Our arborists handle every step with care to give your tree the strongest start possible for years of healthy growth.
Trees need the right balance of macro- and micronutrients to grow, stay healthy, and build new tissue—and that’s where fertilization plays a key role. But it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. It takes soil analysis, a look at the tree’s overall health, and the right choice of fertilizer. Our arborists take care of all of that, ensuring your trees get exactly what they need to thrive.
Trees in Sterling Heights are vulnerable to pests and diseases, but early detection makes all the difference. Our arborists are trained to identify and treat common local issues quickly, minimizing damage and providing the care your trees need to recover and thrive.
Sometimes a tree can’t be saved—whether it’s due to pests, disease, or severe damage—and removal becomes the only solution. Because tree removal is hazardous, it should always be left to trained professionals. At Treemendous Tree Care, our qualified arborists have the experience, equipment, and expertise to safely remove trees without risking your property or your safety.
Many people delay calling an arborist when their trees show signs of trouble, but waiting can turn small issues into costly problems. Addressing concerns early can save both your trees and your wallet.
If you notice any of the signs below, don’t wait—contact the experienced team at Treemendous Tree Care today:
Dieback occurs when branches begin to die from the tips inward, causing thinning leaves and eventually bare, brittle limbs. This is often a sign of a serious issue, such as disease or root damage. The sooner you catch it, the better chance your tree has to recover.
If your tree has small, yellowing leaves, it’s often a sign of stress, compacted soil, or a lack of nutrients. An arborist can identify the root cause—often through a soil test—and recommend the right solution to help your tree recover and thrive.
When a tree begins shedding its leaves too early, it’s often a sign of trouble—like pests, disease, or poor overall health. Sometimes, temporary stress from drought or extreme weather is the cause. Either way, the smartest move is to have an arborist inspect it and identify the issue.
Some trees lean naturally as they grow toward sunlight, but a sudden or increasing lean can be a sign of root damage or unstable soil. This is a serious warning sign, and it’s important to have a professional arborist inspect the tree right away.
Cavities in a tree often indicate internal decay. If the decay is severe, it can weaken the tree, making it more likely to drop limbs or be blown over by wind. In advanced cases, the decay could even cause the tree to collapse, even on calm, windless days.
Leaf discoloration isn’t always just a seasonal shift—it can be a sign of fungal or bacterial infection. If left untreated, these diseases can seriously weaken or even kill a tree. The sooner an arborist takes a look, the better the chances of saving it.
Mushrooms growing near your tree aren’t always a cause for concern—some coexist harmlessly with tree roots. However, certain types can signal internal decay, which may compromise the tree’s stability. If you spot mushrooms or conks at the base, it’s best to have an arborist inspect the tree to be safe.
It’s normal for trees to lose a branch occasionally, but sudden or unexpected limb drop can signal pests, disease, or structural problems. And once a tree drops one limb, it’s more likely to drop others. That’s why a professional inspection is so important.
